  Keynote Speaker: Jose Maria (Chema) LAGARON

 
Dr. Jose Maria (Chema) LAGARON is Group Leader and Founder of the group Novel Materials and Nanotechnology for Food Related Applications at the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA) of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) located in Valencia, Spain. He is also Lecturer of Materials Science at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Design (ESID), Polymers Group of the Area of Materials of the University Jaume I in Castellón, Spain. He is also Lecturer of Materials Science at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Design (ESID), Polymers Group of the Area of Materials of the University Jaume I in Castellón, Spain.

 

His main research interests including Biopolymers, Nanotechnology, Packaging science, Antimicrobials, Encapsulation, Food Shelf Life Extension, Active and Bioactive Packaging, High Barrier Packaging.
