Zhao Wei, Professor, doctoral supervisor, winner of Shaanxi high-level talent introduction program, distinguished expert of Shaanxi Province, young top talent of Shaanxi University of science and technology, core member of academician studio of "biomass chemistry and materials" of Shaanxi University of science and technology, academic member and degree committee member of School of light industry science and engineering of Shaanxi University of science and technology, Yichun major talent project evaluation expert. From 2007 to 2012, he studied for a doctor's degree in Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Master's degree and doctoral degree, major in polymer chemistry and Physics). From 2013 to 2016, he conducted postdoctoral research at King Abdullah University of science and Technology (kaust) in Saudi Arabia. The cooperative tutor is Nikos hadjichristidis, an internationally famous polymer scientist, the founder of polymer discipline in Greece and an outstanding professor of King Abdullah University of science and technology. He joined the school of light industry science and engineering of Shaanxi University of science and technology in 2017.
It has long been committed to the green, efficient and precise synthesis and Performance Research of new polymer materials. As the main implementer, he participated in a number of National Natural Science Funds and successfully developed a series of green preparation catalytic systems of polymer materials with potential commercial application value. At present, he has presided over 2 general projects of NSFC and 1 scientific research startup fund of "young top talent" of Shaanxi University of science and technology. The research direction is the creation (non imitation) of new biomass materials, using physical, chemical and biological means to establish a connecting bridge between "natural biomass polymer" and "synthetic degradable polymer" at the molecular level, so as to realize the precise construction of new biomass materials with optical, electrical, magnetic, antibacterial and anti-counterfeiting characteristics, so as to provide a basis for the diversification of biomass materials, Functionalization and high value provide new ways to explore the application of biomass materials in high-end technology fields such as medicine, biology, electronic sensing and intelligent packaging, and give new "life value" to biomass materials with wide sources, natural regeneration and bio friendliness. So far, as the first author and corresponding author, he has published more than 30 SCI papers in international famous journals such as nature communications, angeliwandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Applied Materials & interfaces, macromolecules, biomacromolecules, chem. Common, polymer chemistry, etc., and has authorized 5 Chinese invention patents and 1 International Invention Patent.
