In August 1999, he obtained his doctorate from Beijing Institute of Technology; From 1999 to 2001, he was engaged in postdoctoral research in Jingyi Department of Qinghua University. From September 2001 to now, he has been a professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Institute of Technology; At present, he is the vice chairman of the color Technical Committee of China Optical Society and the member of the national color Standardization Technical Committee; The main research interests include: color science theory and technology, spectral imaging technology. In recent years, he has won many awards in related fields, such as the second prize of national defense science and technology and the second prize of Beijing Municipal Science and technology progress award. He has edited and published advanced colorimetry and introduction to digital image color management system; About 80 doctoral and master's students are trained in color science related fields.
